How to get there

By air – Republic of Cyprus
South Cyprus has two main airports, Larnaca and Paphos. Both are International airports and are served by the national airline Cyprus Airways.

The two airports and Limassol Harbour are the only two recognised points of entry for international visitors.

If you travel to the North and you are not a citizen of the European Union, you may be refused entry to the South.

Larnaca Airport is only 5km (3 miles) from the city centre. There is no bus service directly to and from the airport, but taxis are plentiful and inexpensive to Larnaca.

Paphos Airport is 10km (6 miles) from the city. Taxis to the centre of Paphos are inexpensive, but onward taxi fares rise sharply.
